The State Bank of Hyderabad Other Backward Classes Welfare Association was founded on 24th September 1996 at Head Office of State Bank of Hyderabad under chairmanship of Shri. M Mallesham and Shri. K Jaya Prasad founder President and General Secretary. Though OBC Welfare Association was registered as a Unitary Organization, with it’s Registered Office at Hyderabad, it is virtually a defacto association in its functioning. The responsiveness to the national and social cause while working for the social justice and sort-out grievances of our members has been the hallmark of functioning of our association. It is an apolitical and independent Welfare Association, led by serving Bank Officer/workmen’s only. The AIOBCWA is one of the strong Affiliates of National Union for Other Backward Classes (NUBC), a principal bargaining agent for our members benefits in the Bank level, a mighty OBCs’ welfare Association.
The aim of AIOBCWA. is to achieve through constructive cooperation with the Management, maximum efficiency in banking operations, high quality customer service, development of human resources, modernization of systems and procedures, prevention of wasteful expenditure and frauds and to generate stable and harmonious industrial relations. AIOBCWA continues to play its effective watchdog role to protect the interest of the members and its membership, SBH OBC association emerged as a strong welfare association and a pride Unit of NUBC. It is recognized Welfare Association by SBH management for the covering entire membership of 5000 members in the State Bank of Hyderabad. It is mighty OBCs Welfare Association. The Unit consists of 5 Central Office Bearers. President, Vice-President, General Secretary, Joint, Secretary and Treasurer, 2 VP for Head Office, 1 VP for Gunfoundry, 1VP for sub staff, 1 VP for women, 11 Vice Presidents, 11 Zonal Secretaries, 11 Zonal Organising Secretaries, 31 Regional Secretaries and 31 Asst. Regional Secretaries. All the Central Office Bearers and Vice Presidents constitute the Units Executive Committee Members Body. |
